Mara Duma Bush Camp is a luxurious camp located in the depths of Masai Mara, right outside Talek Gate . Founded, pro-bono, by passionate wildlife photographer Sanjeev Mishra, This camp is built on the grounds of perfection and it wouldn't be such without the outstanding leadership of Tony Nyamai, the Co-founder and the Camp Director along with its excellent team of support staff. Mara Duma Bush Camp is a balance between nature, and luxury. The rooms are very spacious, and designed keeping in mind, the needs of wildlife photographers. We have one of the best restaurants in Talek, with a renowned kitchen staff, which serves Continental, African, and Indian food, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian.
We strive to contribute to the local Masai community in Talek by supporting the school . We support the Masai Mara Rangers, who are the real heroes.

Michael2024-01-08Too expensive for that kind of quality. ☺ The location close to the river was fine. It was clean. The woman employed worked hard to please us. ☹ Paying $20 each for dinner was a rip-off considering what we got for less at the other places we visited and the poor quality of the food here. The tent set-up could not have taken long to build looking at the haphazard nature of the construction and complete lack of finish to the work done. At times there was no electricity, then the water failed to emerge and then there was the strange lock to the bathroom that suddenly jammed. We eventually got a key, but it was the wrong one....

Debi2023-09-28מיקום יפיפה , חוויה של לודג׳ במחיר שפוי לעומת המלונות שבתוך השמורה! ☺הקאמפ ממש על גבול השמורה, הלינה באוהלים גדולים מאד. היינו זוג באוהל עם 4 מיטות זוגיות. מים חמים , מגבות נקיות, מאוורר תקרה, מרפסת לנוף של השמורה והנחל זורם ממש מתחת לגדר . את השקט בלילה הפרו רק קולות הקופים (בבוקר…). צוות אדיב ויעיל של הבחורות המקומיות. ☹החיבור לרשת החשמל לא עבד , הגנרטור שלהם מספק תאורה עד 11 בלילה. חיבור לתקשורת (Wi-Fi ) רק באיזור של המסעדה, אין בחדרים.

Maaike2023-03-27Amazing Masai Mara experience! ☺ We really loved our stay here. Everybody was super friendly and helpful and really made this an experience we will never forget. The tents are really big and comfortable (the photos don't do it justice) and the view over the Masai Mara is just priceless. We saw elephants, giraffes and even a leopard just by sitting in front of the tent and sipping on a beer. The full-day safari was magical with a great lunch and snack box and the cooking at the camp was sublime... ☹ Nothing.

Les tentes sont spacieuses et propres. Rapport qualité prix - Nous recommandons car l'emplacement était parfait, à 1 minute en voiture depuis l'entrée du park Masai Mara, pour ceux qui ne veulent pas dormir dans le park faute de budget.

Geweldige accomodatie, schoon en mooi en met alles erop en eraan wat je nodig hebt. Een super uitzicht, rustig en avontuurlijk met dieren in je voortuin. Het eten was lekker en heel goed verzorgt. De bedden ruim en schoon en zelfs werd er s avonds een warme kruik ingelegd als wij aan het eten waren. En de campmanager helpt je met alles waar je vragen over hebt of wat je wilt regelen, ook al op je reis er naartoe. ☹had niet beter gekund. Niets viel tegen.
Helping the community is our number one priority here at Mara Duma Camp. We built the gate for the Secondary school in Talek, when the old gate broke down and lions decided to take a shortcut through the school.
